WLS Recruitment are a multi-discipline recruitment company that started their journey in 2021. To help compliment the wealth of experience of the combined Directorship they needed North East Web Design they could count on to ensure their web presence matched their ambition.
The new website had to engage both candidates and employers alike, while offering a seamless user experience in order to keep all users engaged. There was also the requirement for a ‘live stream’ job board and CV upload facility in order to streamline the job application process.

The Approach
After our initial consultation with Director David Lloyd we had a clear vision for the design and branding of this project using the WordPress platform. There are many web designers North East that prefer this platform but a lot depends on the overall execution and manipulation of the tools and plugins this agile platform offers.
It was clear that the new website needed to centre around the new job board feature, which was built with seamless UX in mind. Some of the Canny Commerce team have experience in the recruitment industry so we were able to make a heavy contribution to the content of the website with SEO and keyword performance in mind.
WLS Recruitment now have a clean & modern recruitment website that is geared towards both candidate and client engagement due to it’s seamless and simplistic navigation. The team at WLS became quickly proficient in the use of the CRM and job boards and as a result saw a 65% increase in applications across the first 6 months of the website going live.
